Mikael Dolsten’s Letter to the NYT Addresses our Commitment to R&D

    December 5, 2011

Heather Young, Editor and Community Manager, Think Science Now

Mikael Dolsten, Pfizer’s President of Worldwide Research and Development, recently submitted a letter to the editor of the New York Times in response to an article the publication ran on Pfizer’s approach to R&D and shareholder investment.

Mikael made the point that Pfizer is investing in areas of unmet medical need, as demonstrated by our recent ground breaking on the Centers for Therapeutic Innovation (CTI), a state-of-the-art research facility in Cambridge, Mass. Think Science Now Member Snehal Naik also posted a recent blog about her support for the CTI model of partnership.
